The Stop

"I spit that uptown-body-rock-rolley-hop, and will a nigga ever shut me down? prolly not. Cause ever since I was a young lad I crushed emcees, kickin' ass takin' names at the trolley stop."

My 10 all time favorite Hip Hop artists

I've been sitting here and brooding for the past hour or so, trying to narrow down my favorite artists to just 10 (in no particular order), and I think I've finally done it. So here we go:

Jay Electronica

Blu

Lupe Fiasco
Son of Ran

People Under The Stairs
Giant Panda
The Cool Kids
Canto I
Crown City Rockers

Blue Scholars
And there you have it, just click the pictures, and you'll automatically search the archives for some of their stuff or anything related to them, now I'm off to bed...I spend too much time on this blog...

Alright, here's my opinion:

Top Ten Hop-Hop Artists (according to SBC)

Stricklin - http://www.myspace.com/stricklin
Ghostface - http://www.myspace.com/ghostface
Crooked I - http://www.myspace.com/crookedi
Little Brother - http://www.myspace.com/littlebrother
Bambu - http://www.myspace.com/bambumusic
Buckshot - http://www.myspace.com/buckshot
Planet Asia - http://www.myspace.com/planetasia
Kay - http://www.myspace.com/kayofthefoundation
Access Immortal - http://www.myspace.com/accessimmortal
Blu (C.R.A.C.) - http://www.myspace.com/cracknuckles

This was difficult to do but I really tried to narrow this down to only my favorites based solely on lyrical message and flow.

All of these come after my mainstream top ten: Tupac Shakur, T.I., U.G.K., Jay-Z, Kanye West, Outkast, Notorious B.I.G., Nas, Mobb Deep, Lil Wayne.
