So I've had this for a little while, and it's pretty dope. I don't know much about the artist 45, but I do know that he's another dope DJ/producer straight out of Japan. The album is mainly instrumental with a few guests here and there. Overall this album is worth a download, I don't really have much to say about it...I guess I'm feeling kind of lazy today, but it doesn't matter the album's really dope, download it.

Well, you guys should already know DJ Kentaro from my previous post of his most recent album. If you slept on that, you definitely need to check that out along with these tapes. I don't really feel like writing about him right now because there's a lot to say about him, instead ill leave you with this little excerpt from another blogger by the name of Kaya King, which pretty much sums up this artist:
"Kentaro is a mad dexterous surgeon who slices and dices beats into a breathtaking sonic concoction in his Sendai laboratory and at events all over the world. When Kentaro is behind a set of 1200s and a mixer, he's on stage: sometimes he's shy, sometimes he's sassy, but I've never heard him be anything short of absolutely splendid.

Where some turntablists are content to fill their routines with the same ol' thang, Kentaro uses his awesome technique to move beyond the crab scratch and has catapulted drum 'n' bass and dance music into a realm that nobody has yet to explore. My Favorites Songs - Kentaro's first ever mix CD - stands as a testament to his pioneering vision of melding the mentality of a battler with the street smarts and savvy of the hip-hop elite.

Lauded for years by hip-hop aficionados, Kentaro has won the respect of Japan’s Hip Hop Best Artists (tied winner was Eminem from USA) which explains why revered Japanese labels like Endeavor Entertainment, W + Kennedy Tokyo Lab, Artimage and Jazzysport. Undiluted and Virus have presented him with exclusive tracks you won't be able to hear anywhere else. And let's not forget Kentaro's exclusive turntablist cut ups - three mind blowing pastiches that are all ahead of its time. Kentaro is moving at the speed of vox. Sleep on his skills and he's gonna leave you in the dust.

DJ Kentaro, number one DJ in the world, and it's just the beginning…"

14. The Final View (3:35)
15. Peaceland (5:33)

Since this guy has quite a few albums out, I'm going to start you out with what I started out with. I first discovered Nujabes out at Welcome to Real Hip Hop, and with that I discovered an entire world of jazzy, beat breaking, table turning, Asian made hip hop. This is another one of the first albums that got me started, filled with tranquil oriental influenced beats and rhythms, and also quite a few guest artists such as Substantial, Five Deez, Shing02, Pase Rock, and Cise Starr. All of them aren't quite known but they are pretty exceptional, especially Substantial, and Cise Starr. Nujabes is a master DJ, and in my opinion one of the best japanese artists out there. Look out for the following tracks: Belssing It, Lady Brown, Kumoni, Letter From Yokosuka**, Think Different, A Day by Atmosphere Supreme, Next View, and F.I.L.O.

Well I've been into Japanese hip hop ever since i downloaded Nujabes (Ill be posting so of his shizz sooner or later) and ill tell you one thing Asians sure know how to work with the cuts and breaks. This is a new one i just recently downloaded, recently meaning last night around 1 AM, and I really like it, so i thought i might share it with you all. Japanese hip hop usually doesn't have vocals unless its a collaboration with another artist, but its probably some of the chillest music you'll ever treat your ears to. I can't even explain it in words, you needa hear it for yourself.
