The Stop

"I spit that uptown-body-rock-rolley-hop, and will a nigga ever shut me down? prolly not. Cause ever since I was a young lad I crushed emcees, kickin' ass takin' names at the trolley stop."

This might be a little confusing but here's an album/compilation done by Saint Germain, with a second disc done by DJ Cam. Now to tell you the truth I never bothered with the first CD, but just so you wont have a broken set I'll post it up for you. This little package is straight up soulful jazzy Hip Hop; Jazz-Hop or Nu-Jazz as some call it. If you don't like jazz, this isn't for you. Being brought up with jazz, such as myself, helps you appreciate the qualities of Jazz mixed with Hip Hop. The tracks done by DJ Cam masterfully blend Hip Hop's beat machine with trumpets, horns, pianos, bass violin, and many more jazzy instruments. I don't know about the first CD but the second CD is completely instrumental, except for the track It's Yours, which utilizes a limited amount of human vocals. All in all this is one for the collection. If anything I recommend that you just download the second CD.
