"I spit that uptown-body-rock-rolley-hop, and will a nigga ever shut me down? prolly not. Cause ever since I was a young lad I crushed emcees, kickin' ass takin' names at the trolley stop."
"Something we did to fend off the cabin fever from the snowstorm that hit earlier this month and canceled our homecoming shows. Directed and edited by Zia Mohajerjasbi. Filmed one December afternoon in South Seattle."
Karma Loop and The Cool Kids are holding a T-Shirt design contest. The winner receives $5,000 bucks for anything their heart desires and $5,000 Karma Loop bucks to spend on fresh clothes. My boy Dustin d'Arnault submitted a fresh design which I would really like to see printed (click the pictures for a better view). Vote for my man if you're feeling this design.
"This design brings together many elements from the Cool Kids music. Elements such as Saturday morning cartoons, bowls of cereal, boom boxes and bikes are scattered through out the shirt. The image is designed to wrap around the torso." -Dustin d'Arnault
Voting ends at the end of January, so hurry up and vote!
Through out the years my music collection has grown to extreme extents. To say the least, I have over 50 gigs of multimedia files, about 40 of which is music. So for Christmas this year, I was lucky enough to receive a 120 gig iPod Classic for all my music. Along with that, Santa decided to take it one step further and got me a pair of bangin headphones from Skullcandy. It was a good Christmas.
On the 27th was my 18th birthday, so thanks to those who wished me a happy birthday. Strip clubs here I come! haha.
Yowza, I was just perusing through 2DB's older posts and stumbled across these gems right here. A few Demo songs by the infamous Jay Electronica. This stuff is fire. Jay Electronica never ceases to amaze me. I'll be sure to keep you cats updated if I find anymore of these elusive demo tape tracks.
Kid Hum personally sent this to me, and I must say it is very well done. He gave out a free download as well as a preview on Imeem. It's a masterfully created instrumental album that is very listenable; in other words it's "not just a bunch of beats..." Check it out for yourself, I recommend this to all those beatnuts out there.

Here's a little something I found last night. I've never really listened to much of Slims stuff, besides his most recent albums, but this right here is some amazing stuff. I cant even explain it. It doesn't sound anything like Eminem. There's very little violence, just straight Hip Hop. It's amazing. If you don't have this down load it now!
Its been a long time since I posted up something in the gear category of this blog, but never the less, check out these eye popping Adidas Sambas that I will definitely be putting on my Christmas list this year. Click the picture to buy.
So I've been waiting for this a long time now, and I know you have too. Here's the second edition of The Find Magazine, which came out quite lovely. My article is on pages 10 and 11. Peep it!
Well now, this weeks been a pretty busy one. I went up to Georgia for a college showcase tournament with my club soccer team. We played hard, but in the end I guess the cold weather took a toll on us since we originate from Miami. Anyway, that's the reason I haven't posted anything this past week, so I'm here to rekindle that Hip Hop fire; to get you guys some new stuff, and update you on what I've been bumpin'. So to get started we'll do a combo, Manic Mondays week 14 and 15! Check it out kiddies.
